Zincovit Syrup 200Ml

COMPOSITION

Each 5ml contains: Vitamin A (as palmitate) BP 800 IU, Cholecalciferol BP 100 IU, All-rac-alpha-Tocopheryl acetate BP 2.5 mg, Thiamine hydrochloride BP 0.75 mg, Riboflavin sodium phosphate BP 0.75 mg, Pyridoxine hydrochloride BP 0.5 mg, Cyanocobalamin BP 0.5 mcg, Nicotinamide BP 7.5 mg, Dexpanthenol BP 0.5 mg, Potassium Iodide BP 50 mcg, Copper sulfate pentahydrate BP 100 mcg, Zinc sulfate heptahydrate 22.2 mg in a flavoured base. 

DESCRIPTION

Zincovit-S is a palatable orange fruity flavoured syrup providing prophylactic doses of multivitamin and mineral supplements. It provides 9 vitamins and 3 minerals including Zinc.  

INDICATIONS

Zincovit-S is indicated in aiding growth in children and for boosting up immunity. 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to any of the vitamins. 

WARNING

Excessive dosage of Vitamin A would be dangerous to the health and before long term use, please consult your doctor. 

PRECAUTIONS

Zincovit-S should be used as a vitamin and mineral source in conjunction with an energy providing diet suitable for individual patient requirements. No other vitamins, minerals or supplements with or without Vitamin A should be taken with this preparation except under medical supervision. Do not exceed the stated dose. Zincovit-S should be used with caution in patients with chronic liver disease and in patents with hyperlipidemia. Vitamin D should be used with caution in patients with hypercalcemia. Increased sensitivity to Vitamin D is observed in patients with renal impairment and having an abnormal calcium/phosphorus ratio. 

SIDE EFFECTS

Zincovit-S is well tolerated in recommended doses. Some patients may experience mild central stimulant side effects.
