Composition Each film coated tablet contains Vitamin A 3000IU, Vitamin D3 400IU, Alpha Lipoic Acid 200mg, Vitamin B1 5mg, Vitamin B2 5mg, Vitamin B3 10mg, Vitamin B5 15mg, Vitamin B6 1mg, Vitamin B12 15mcg, Vitamin E 10IU, Vitamin C 75mg, Zinc Sulphate 22.5mg, Folic Acid 0.75mg. 

Vitafact (Multivitamins, Minerals & Antioxidant Tablets) is a combination of vitamins, minerals and antioxidant specially designed to ensure a valuable micronutrient supply in keeping a human body fit and healthy mentally as well as physically. 

Pharmacology: Vitamin A prevents growth retardation and preserves the integrity of the epithelial cells. Vitamin A deficiency is characterized by nyctalopia (night blindness), keratomalacia (necrosis of the comea), keratinization and drying of the skin, low resistance to infection, growth retardation, bone thickening, diminished cortical steroid production, and fetal malformations. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Having the right amount of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus is important for buildings and keeping strong bones. Vitamin D is used to treat and prevent bone disorders (such as rickets. osteomalacia). Vitamin D with calcium is used to treat or prevent bone loss (osteoporosis), hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism, familial hypophosphatemia. Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a powerful antioxidant and have been used treatment of certain types of nerve damage, diabetes and neuropathy. ALA protects the neurons from oxidative stress. It prevents atherosclerosis by preventing LDL oxidation. Vitamin B complex typically consists of the water-soluble vitamins. Folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine and the cobalamins (vitamin B12). Which are necessary for energy metabolism at rest and during physical activity, vitamin B 12 is essential for red blood cell production, tissue repair, and protein synthesis. Vitamin B complex purportedly has enhancing effects on energy metabolism, cell regeneration, and cognitive function. An adequate intake of B vitamins is essential to maintain health and optium exercise performance. Low levels of B vitamins may result in decreased physical ability, particularly during high-intensity situations. Zinc is indicated for the prevention and treatment of zinc deficiency, which may result from inadequate nutrition or intestinal malabsorption and other conditions that interfere with zinc utilization or increase zinc losses from the body. Deficiency of zinc may lead to growth retardation, hypogonadism in males, anorexia (changes in taste and smell), depressed mental function, impaired wound healing, and suppressed immune function. Recommended intake of Zinc is necessary in following conditions such as alcoholism, diarrhea. Skin disorders (dermatitis, psoriasis), diabetes mellitus and burns.
